More Bryanisms...

Finally, we have made our way through the Old Testament and last night we read our first story of the New Testament during family Bible time. Tonight, we read from Luke Chapter 2 about Jesus' birth. After the story, David was asking the questions to review and it went like this:

David: "Bryan, what city did Mary and Joseph travel to when Jesus was born?"
Bryan: "New York."
David: "No. Dylan, do you remember?"
Bryan: "No...I know, I know...Downtown"
David: "How about Bethlehem?"

And so goes our nightly Bible time. Where does he come up with this stuff? He always pays attention, he just never retains any of the information. I guess 3 is a little young yet. But he looks forward to the routine just as much as Dylan does, which makes me happy.

But wait there's more...

This one isn't new, so to speak, but I don't think I've journalled it down yet and it definitely is one of his favorites.

Blinking (v) That pounding feeling inside your chest after you have been chasing your big brother around the house for a solid 15 minutes. Used in a sentence: "Mommy, my heart is blinking."
