Rocket Man

Tonight's forecast: Cool temperatures, low humidity, clear skies and and an almost full moon--the perfect night to do a little star watching!
And that is exactly what we did tonight. Dylan and Daddy caught a glimpse of the moon and what Daddy was fairly confident was the Northern Star. (?) It could have been stardust and Dylan would have been happy to have seen it--check out his excitement in the second picture! He has had this great interest in space for about two years now. I don't really know where he gets it from, but it never seems to get old to him. :)

Who knows Dylan may be the first black-belt in space.

He probably gets it from the nerdy science teacher (myself) who tries to instill some kind of fascination in the kids about the world around them. :)
