Dylan's life--from birth till now.

So, Dylan's class at school is creating time lines of their lives from birth to now and they sent the time line home tonight for the parents to help the kids complete it. I'm having a tough time helping Dylan, because I'm not exactly sure what has been going on in his life for the past, oh say, six years! Here, you take a look and see if you can help decipher the events of his life based on his drawings...

Here he is putting the 'finishing touches' on the timeline that was 1/2 completed in school.
2002 was a good year. It was the year I became a mom, the year Dylan was born, and the year he did this:
Then when he was one, there was that time he did this:
By the time he was 2, he was doing this on his own:
From 2 to 3 was a big change. It was when he turned 3 that he surprised us by doing this:
***Note: this is the point at which I started helping Dylan remember what he did each year. See if it helps any?

When he was 4, Dylan tried something new:
And by the time he was 5, he was doing this on a daily basis:
And now that he is 6, he is giving this a shot:
So , how'd you do? Wanna hear Dylan's explanation of the drawings?

2002: He was born. That is him, with one hair on top of his head. (?)
One Year Old: He drank from a bottle. (The pic is of the bottle).
Two Years Old: He began crawling. (And we can see how the one hair has maintained for two full years!)
Three Years Old: Dylan (finally) walks.
Four Years Old: He starts taekwondo.
Five Years Old: He starts school.
Six Years Old: He gives basketball a try.
After the timeline assignment, I got my picture taken with the main character! YAY!

Makes perfect sense to me. Maybe you should frame this to go with the other picture he drew.

That's GREAT! Thank goodness he finally started walking, man, that must have been hard carrying around a 2 year old all that time. :) He did so good! And creative too, I love the bottle. It's neat to see how his little mind works. Y'all's picture together is so cute too.

I still can't believe six years has gone by. I can remember the night he was born, though thankfully he had more than one hair. How modest he is with his accomplishments, making the rest of us who are slow not feel so bad :-).
