Lessons from the Mother of the Year:

Always pack sunscreen lest your infant child might look like mine. Arg!

Proof that even after the fourth child, you will still occasionally forget the little things that matter. (Mommy is so, so, very sorry sweet girl! I love you to teeny-tiny-sunburnt pieces!)

Poor little sweetie! She is still very beautiful and you can tell from the picture that she is still very crazy about you. Don't beat yourself up. You are still mother of the year :-)

She is nothing but precious! It has been almost 25 years since Amanda got sun poison in Fla. I still feel guilt. She won't remember, but good mommy that you are, always will. love to all, Lisa

AAWWW I have done that and if your kids are like mine they could be out for a few mins and burn like it was nothing.
I hope she is feeling better soon.

Where did you go? Hope she is not as uncomfortable as she looks. Even beet red she is still a cutie.

Even the best of us forget the little things sometimes! Hey, any momma that can take 4 kids to a crowded place like that and leave with all 4 still in tow deserves mother of the year in my book! She didn't look that bad out in the sun.... They did stay cool with the wet rags, see, you aren't so bad!

I feel her pain. I AM her. Only I do that to myself all the time without meaning to! OUCH! :) It's ok, she'll survive!
